hear my prayer..

My eyes
Please don’t cry
For something that is insignificant
For your tears is actually too valuable to be wasted on them.
But please don’t held back your tears
For the sins that we have done
As they will be our witnesses to help me escape on the Judgement Day.
Please don’t be blinded
By the entertainment that this world has to offer
As they will not last forever, and nothing but just a toy.
And please don’t wander off
To see or stare those that you are not suppose to see
For the most gorgeous eyes would be the one that are always kept low.

My ears
Please don’t hear
Those stabbing words meant to disgrace other people
For they will bring us nothing good, but only burdening us.
Please don’t indulge
In too many songs that made you not remember ALLAH
For ALLAH has never forgotten you.
Please don’t refuse
To be a part of the talk and tazkirah
For those are the gardens of Heaven that are covered by the angles’ wings.

My tongue
Please don’t say a thing
If those thing bring no benefits for us
For speeches are silver, silences are gold.
Please don’t forget
To recite the Quran
For that’s the way to keep our soul pure and clean.
Please don’t lie
For that is one of the traits of the Munafiqun
Who broke their promise whenever they pledge, and immoderate when fighting.

My heart
Please don’t feel amazed (ujub) or proud (riak)
With any success that we obtained
For all of those have been set by ALLAH from the very beginning, hence are all ALLAH’s and never ours.
Please don’t be sad
When we have to face any obstacles
For that is the sign that ALLAH is watching over us.
Please don’t give up
When the obstacles keep on coming to us
For they will help to us to become more mature in this life and brings us closer to Him.
Please don’t be envious
With what other people have
For it will only taint you with hatred and other ‘diseases’.

My friends
Please don’t thank me
If I did anything good to you
But say ‘Alhamduliilah’ for it could never be done without His will.
Please don’t praise me
If I did anything good to someone else
But say ‘Masya-ALLAH’ for I’m just lucky to be picked to be the medium for it to happen.
But please don’t hate me
If I did anything wrong
Please tell me for I am never perfect to escape from them.
Please don’t keep quite
If you ever see me drifting away from the right path
For I am an ‘Insan’ that is always forgetful.

Oh ALLAH
Please don’t let me go astray
Keep me close to you
And make me a part of your servants that are grateful.
Please don’t make my hand
To stop holding the rope you’ve given me
But please help me to tighten my grip so that I will not fall into the pit of darkness.
Please don’t ever leave me alone
For I am nothing without you
I am nothing without you

Say
Hasbunallahu wa nikmal wakil
‘ALLAH alone is enough for me’
